Hello!
I wasn’t sure to post this here or in the sales email. I’ve been doing quite a few researches on the best web hosting providers and Hostgator.com definitely is on the top of the list. Though I have some question before made up my mind since I’ve already made a mistake with my current provider. So I made a list of many newbie questions, sorry for that, but I hope you can answer them to me. Please if there's a question not enough clear let me know it since this is not my native language. 1.- Does the download speeds depend on my ISP and how far the host is from my ISP? E.g. my ISP and mostly the entire users of my sites have the ISPs in Mexico and your servers are in Tx Dallas. How does that will affect? Or do you have more servers around the world? if so this brings us into the next question 2.- How many servers do you have around the world and in which locations? 3.- Let clarify this. I have six different domains with their own sites each one. Can all of them be stored in the same Baby Package hosting? If so 45a.- How does the bandwidth is distributed in each one or can I setup that? 4b.- Similarly How does the space is distributed in each one or can I setup that? 5.- About the transfer domains, I’m going to transfer one by one in a period of five month, do you think that could cause any trouble? Again sorry for this long questionnaire but I have to decide this week.Best regards. David |

I'll try my best to make this information as accurate as possible. HG Staff, please correct me if I'm wrong.
1. All of HG's servers are located at The Planet in Dallas, Texas. You should have no problems with speed. I'm in Florida and my sites load super fast. 2. They have 3000+ servers at their Dallas location. 3. Yes, you host each site under one Baby plan. 4a. The 6,000 gig bandwidth is shared amongst all the domains you have hosted under that one account. 4b. It's like a big pool of bandwidth. You cannot setup how much each domain gets. 5. Nope. Chimp |

download speeds between you and your hg-site will depend in part on your isp, yes, in terms of how much bandwith you have access to through your isp and their performance. physical location of your site vs. isp is not really an issue.
to set up different bandwith limits for different sites, you'd have to have a reseller account. otherwise, it's all one big pool as chimp mentioned. same is true for space available to each domain. if they are set up in a non-reseller account, you get X amount of space as well, and then each addon domain is set up in a folder under the main one. so it's all shared. for a reseller account, you can decide who gets what space. doesn't matter what domains you move when, but if you are doing addon domains under a main one, do the main one first. otherwise, you may have to pay a fee to change your primary domain. good luck!

Sorry for asking but do you Dix work for hg? You give me exactly the answers i was looking for. Now I’m in a terrible conflict. Around a list of ten web hosting providers now left two, HG and the other. The problem is that the other is also very nice and seems to have a great technical support. The staff answered me very fast and very gentle. Just like you guys and girl. I have to discuss with my partner and decide which one we choose. BTW, how is the support in HG? David |
