As a reseller on this server, I would highly appreciate it when YOU send out a notification by email when anything important happens on this server. Or create a status page where I can quickly scan changes.
Currently my customers tell me about problems and then I come look here in a forum. Personally I think that is not very professional. |

I understand outages like this can be annoying and I apologize that we had to take the server down unexpectedly. I should have clarified in the title a bit that this case was an emergency and not something that was scheduled. When filesystem issues crop up like this we have to take the server down and repair it immediately or we put your data at risk.
In these sorts of cases it's just not logistically possible to e-mail all the customers on the server as usually we are 100% focused on restoring normal service as quickly as possible. A status page however is something I will pass on to our developers, we could definately provide something like that.

Hello Patrick,
Creating a general server or service status page would just fit my needs and probably for every other reseller as well. Thank you for taking this in consideration. Please update me/us as/when such thing will actually be created. Regards, Sirrom |

Currently there are Network Issues at tracer.websitewelcome.com but unfortunately they are not reported here at the Status Page but they are known to the HG support team.
May I request that now that your have a status page, you start using it? Resellers don't like to be informed by their users about issues. That's your Job!

DoS Attack? For the last 12 hours, my reseller domains at tracer.websitewelcome.com are going down and back up later, several times. There are no issues reported at the status page but the HG support second that there were (or still are?) some issues.
What's going on there? |
