Question a total newbie first timer. need staff to answer please

hello hostgator staffs,
im really new to buying web hosts so please answer and guide me.
i've been wanting to create my own website for a long time now.
i made a trial publish at http://agisshi.tripod.com/ now i wanted to buy a web host to create a website about MMO gaming info and forum.

the forum i want to create is phpbb3 and im pretty used to that.
about the website i want to create, is just simple that would not really much use space.

im planning to purchase the Plan Baby $7.95 with unlimited domains.
question about domains, im not very much knowledgeable at these things yet but domains are website addresses right? so if i have unlimited domains does that mean i can name my website and forum and i dont have to find a domain hosting or something like that?

also what does it mean to pay 3 years @ $7.95/monthly?
is it like making a contract?
what if i only plan to host my web and forum for 2years only?
but if in the future, im not sure about and would like to extend another year, how's that?

also can i directly upload my files using dreamweaver?
right now im only knowledgeable about dreamweaver after watching tutorial vids from lynda.com

and lastly can i pay thru paypal? (just want to confirm)

You need to purchase one or more domain names from HG or from any domain registrar you choose.

I've been using the baby plan for 6 of my sites and haven't had any issues in the last 6 months.

It is a good starter plan.

Best!

Do all domain names we transfer to our hostgator account get filed to the same nameserver #'s we are given with our 1st registration? In other words, do we need different ns#### for each domain?

you will use the same nameserver as of your primary account.
All accounts would be on same IP too, except for which you purchase a dedciated IP.

Look at it this way: your registrar doesn't know what HG account you have. And if you're going to be making those second through nth domains "addon domains" to your baby or swamp account, you get only the first welcome email and thus only one set of nameservers to work with. It's a good idea to copy that email to a text or word file on your PC, so you can't lose the info.

(For folks who have the hatchling account, this doesn't apply because they can have only one (1) domain).

If after your primary domain, all additional domains are set up as Add-on domains, then as ghpk said.

However, if you purchase seperate accounts for additional domains, then nameservers might vary.
