Positive Too reliant

Ticket SWP-364981 is requesting a transfer for my accounts from my old host to HG. It was originally submitted 1/31 and I believe started to process on 2/2. Evidently there was some sort of problem requiring all of the data to be deleted from my new HG account, and would I agree to that. Without access to the ticket system - problems documented several places in these forums - I could not reply, nor would Chat reply, nor would a phone conversation to Sales reply, nor could I talk to anyone in the transfer department, nor could I talk to an administrator. Eventually on 2/3 I got someone to enter a reply for me, and that was verified on 2/4 - but the transfer has not yet started as far as I can tell. In looking at both hosting accounts - the prior account and HG account - it does not look like there have been any changes relative to content removed from HG account, or additional backups on the previous acount, yet I was told on a Chat session the ticket is currently being worked.

The transfers 72 hour period was long ago over - my accounts are really frozen from any updates until the transfer is completed. How can anyone get any satisfaction with your reliance on a broken system and the blocks preventing contacting someone in authority?

My tickets have all been appropriately handled and the transfer request completed. All of the sites are now working as intended. I am especially pleased that one of the staff from HG called me and discussed my concerns in handling the transfer ticket. I believe my concerns are understood and will be addressed should the ticket system fail in the future. Once the transfer was completed, HG has been very supportive to me where they easily could have brushed off my concerns - I do not feel that they have done so. Thanks HostGator
