Time for another song of praise
Today I had an issues with my email account and it was solved quickly and in an understandable, patient form. The point is that this issue was not caused by hostgator (nor by me, for a change) but by my ISP. Nevertheless hostgator via live chat helped me with a work around and all is back to normal again. Comparing this to my previous web host, the situation there would have been "solved" with "sorry, your issue is caused by a third party and we can't help you" i.e. not solved at all.
So I nominate ShaunST from live chat tech support to be re-baptized as St.Shaun!  SY
