When creating a ticket you should have the ability to add an attachment right there and then, instead of only when you refer to your ticket later. It should be quite obvious for the reason behind this, as it'd be nice to add an attachment to the ticket upon creation, and not later.
By the way, I'm referring to the following ticket system: https://gbclient.hostgator.com/

Ticket initiation certainly does seems like a very likely place for including an attachment. It can be done via an email (support AT hostgator.com) submission which will be acknowledged with a new ticket number, but the new system interface should allow for it as well.
And while we're on the subject, could we please do something about "unlinking" the new setup from the old one. Right now it's impossible to use the "Add an Email Address" feature unless that address has already been used under the old ticket setup. Even the "Create New Ticket" feature doesn't include the new account holder in its dropdown list of "From:" addresses. Last edited by virtvir5; 12-17-2010 at 06:08 AM. |
