Thinking of getting reseller

Ok I have a shared hosting account and I'm thinking of also buying a reseller and use the same domain. Websites aren't my department so I was wondering if I add the reseller dns server to the domain service and move the index pages to the reseller so that the front page runs on the reseller but the files and stuff are on the shared. Would that work?

You could make something like that work. But why would you want to? I would just have HG move everything to the reseller account and then get rid of the shared account.
