Is there any way to cancel the main domain and replace it with a new, off-site one?

Well, I was wondering if I could replace my accounts main domain, that I bought when I signed up, with a new domain I bought from GoDaddy and cancel the old one, the reason being is that I really don't use the current main domain anymore and it's pretty expensive buying domains from HG anyway, so is this possible? And if so, could I have instruction on how to do so? Thanks.

Thanks, now this may be a dumb/obvious question, but after I do this how do I cancel the domain I'm changing from? (The one bought from HG)
