Positive Thanks a million!

I never take time to write reviews for anything but I think I must for once :P

I have worked with slowdaddy for around 7 years and have always wanted to move but was leary to do so. Recently it got to the point where it became a necessity to do so and after pouring through tons of review sites I saw %90 great reviews about Hostgator so I decided to give it a try.

Since I moved my traffic has increased by over 4 times , along with income from the site. Most of the time on slowdaddy I was lucky to get a page load. They should change their billing to bill you IF your page loads, I'm surprised Parsons hasn't tried to market that into something yet. My guess is their bandwidth is overloaded by Parsons short man complex ego, 50 billion BUY BUY BUY images and text, and ungodly amounts of spam emails they send.

Phone support? LOL right. I guess I should cut them a break though because they must have to limit phone time since it seems they're using a dialup connection for customer servers. There's also nothing like being on hold forever listening to crappy music only to be transferred 4 times and finally ending up with a tech support person who couldn't use a calculator that tells you it isn't their problem but maybe if you buy this or that it will magically get better.

Their ticket system is a joke. This week I made some changes to nameservers and their brilliant user interface kept changing them. After digging through several pages of sales pitches and ads attempting to coax me to read Parson's "look at me" blog, I finally opened a ticket. Two days later my settings were put in correctly and I get an email telling me nothing was ever wrong and they didn't have to change anything. This isn't the first time this has happened.

I thank the owner of Hostgator for the FAST responses to tickets and that they at least spend some of the money they make on improving things for their customers instead of hiring hot women that are taller than them to stand around them so they look good or hiring one to drive the nascar they sponsor. I guess Parson's would drive it himself but I imagine being able to see over the steering wheel is probably a requirement.

Now that my wall of text is complete, I'll say one last THANK YOU and move on.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such an outstanding review of our service. It's good to hear that we are truly a leap ahead of our competition.

Please don't hesitate to let us know if there is anything we can do for you.
