I'm new to Hostgator. I had a number of little glitches getting my websites set up as they were moved from another hosting company.

The support area was quick. The live chat people were very nice, even though in several instances the assistance required opening a support ticket as it required checking things they have no access to.

What I appreciated most was when a Hostgator Tech finally solved the issue. Not only did he solve the issue, he gave more support than I expected.

I was thrilled and surprised when your Tech not only confirmed what the problem was but he was able to fix it. Apparently my problem was common Wordpress Error because of the permissions granted in your default server setting. He changed the permissions and everything has worked great since.

I run a number of Wordpress Sites. This seems to strike fear and loathing into the hearts of hosting techs everywhere. I feared I'd be ignored and told to get lost as I had been at so many other hosts. I had hoped to get confirmation that it was a Wordpress glitch. Never did I even imagine someone would confirm it as a Wordpress issue and then FIX it on the server side for ME!

I can't promise I'll be happy with Hostgator for the rest of my life--but you've made a heck of a good start!
