That kind of makes me uncomfortable. I assume the terms are not going to change that frequently, so I wonder why that language is in there.
Considering that you contemplate giving somebody your credit card number, a phrase that could possibly write a "blank check" in the contract is not welcome?

Check any TOS ever made for a company and 99.9999% you will find that. It doesn't mean we go around changing the terms. It's like law (in the US), its everchanging. If we added a new type of service, we would have to change the TOS to include that.
That saves us, so when someone says (silly example), "Well, when I joined x years ago there was no rule against pirated movies in the TOS!" We can say, "Yes, but it was added 8 months ago. And we have the right to change our TOS." Hope that explains it for you.
