I have had to cancel with a previous reseller due to them refusing to let me have a temp url to peoples sites that dont own their own domain.

Now i am thinking about you guys but would like this clearing up before i splash the cash again.

I aim to sell packages to people under 18 who dont have access to credit cards. I intend for them to instead send cash by registered post or postal orders/cheques. This however will be no good at all if they cannot use their package without owning a domain. They cant buy a domain if they cant buy a package now can they! These people use free domains but these cannot be setup using DNS names/IP's instead they need to go over original URL's. This is what i need, temp urls/paths.

Please let me know if this service gives me temp url's to packages without domains.

Thanks

Temp is enabled for temporary use it cannot be used for permanent use as you mentioned, any sites using it as you say are terminated.

i cant see what difference it would make if a paid domain is masking it rather than a free domain.

guess this is not the service for me then.

it's sort of discrimination against those who haven't got credit cards if you ask me.

It's not just cpanel doesn't have a way to track bandwidth when using an ip. So of course no host is going to allow a bunch of sites going around getting free bandwidth.

I have a fix for this. ^^

When you create the account in WHM, set the account's domain name as accountname.resellerdomain.com.

So, for example:

You have a domain called rockawesome.com.

Guy wants account called Ninjagear.

You setup ninjagear.rockawesome.com

Then supply the username, password, etc.

And that's all there is to it.

They can create email addresses @ninjagear.rockawesome.com, they can have subdomain.ninjagear.rockawesome.com subdomains, you name it. ^.^
