While Dean may not bang into Houston, many of us would probably like to learn how prepared HG and the Planet are for such a disaster.

I lived in Houston when they had their last BAD hurricane, in the 80's. I can tell you everything was down, electric, phones, etc.
Dallas would be not on my list of concern. To far from the coast, and they have all sorts of Backup and redundancy. Then again, some of tech support from Houston can come over to the Kerrville area, we never go down??
