Whats with the telephone number being in the banner ads? What if a person who visits my site calls you, and you take the sale. How am I going to get credit for referring the customer?
Someone explain this to me. |

No it doesn't.
And as a result, I pulled all Hostgator ads off my sites today. Truly, it takes only one one instance to ruin a business relationship. HostGator not only lost an affiliate today, but my trust in them as a long time hosting customer as well. |

I question this a few years ago and was told that HG will fish for how the new customer heard about them. If the customer said they saw an ad on whatever.com they will try and give the commission to them.
