Positive Tech support?

I have been with HG for about a year now and have had a positive experience (for the most part). It was not until 4/26/06 that I had some issues with tech support. I had sent in a ticket asking about the "new" mail: http://webmail.hostgator.com/src/login.php The reply that I got back from ticket [#HRD-118669] was anything but helpful.




I am a reseller and need to know about the webmail system you now have. Can it be set up for my users? What I want to do is add a login box on my site so my customers can log into their webmail. If not I can buy nutsmail and set it up with the login box on my site for my customers.

and what I was told is this:

Hello,

You can access your webmail as http://domainname.com/webmail of http://domainname.com:2095 with username and password. Your client can also access there webmail as http://domainname/webmail or http://domainname;2095. If you have any more problem or questions please let us know.

After 5 tries they still did not get my issue. I then called and talked to a supervisor who was very helpful and answered my questions. It was a simple issue that I did not even think of at first. I am not sure but I would think someone would READ the ticket the first time and not have to go through several emails.

What you were asking for is still beta and most of the employees here aren't even aware of it yet. I do believe this is why nobody knew what you were talking about. I am definitely sorry about this and am glad you are happy with us. Please email me if you have any ideas that can make you happier. =)
