I've seen lots of threads complaining about the support system at HG but very few to say thank you. I thought it was time to redress the balance slightly.
I had some questions to do with moving some domains I have with another hosting company over to HG. I opened a ticket asking for some details about costs, procedures etc. I'd hardly even had time to boil the kettle for a cup of tea when I got a reply from JeanKarlo. He answered all my questions and a few I hadn't thought of. He laid out various options for me to consider and made what I thought would be a very hard decision very simple. I had one final question that I needed an answer to so I updated the ticket with it and I'm glad to say that this time the reply was a bit slower arriving. I actually got the kettle to boil this time. Carl confirmed that I was thinking along the right lines and this gave me the final info I needed. I am no technical expert. I know just enough to know how little I know. The support staff explained the answers to my questions in a clear and concise manner that was very easy to understand while at the same time not being condescending in the least.
