I have the nightly chron job running to sync WHMCS with WHM.
Is this a bi-directional sync? If I want to make a change in the webspace quota for a given hosting package, should I make that change in WHM "edit package" or in WHMCS "product/services//module settings"? Will it sync with the other one either way I do it? Or is one starting point preferred? Thank you. |

Where is that? I don't remember seeing that kind of cron job in WHMCS.

WHMCS admin gives you the scripts under setup/automation settings and you put them in your cron.

That is not doing any kind of syncing between WHM & WHMCS.

OK I misunderstood that. Then is the answer that any change in webspace for a given package should be made separately and identically in both WHMCS and WHM?

When you create a product in WHMCS, you can fill in only the package name in Product-> Module Settings, and the account will be created using the package settings in WHM.

Thanks, quietFinn but you're still too terse for me.
So I have already changed the webspace quota for a package on WHM. 1. I think what you're saying is, the next time I attach this package to a WHMCS client it will pick up the correct webspace quota from the new package definition on WHM -- correct? 2. But what about the existing package description at [domain]/clients/whmcs/admin/configproducts.php?action=edit&id=1 ? That is still showing the old webspace. Would it be a good idea to update it manually on WHMCS? Thanks again for your help. |

Well you must edit it manually, if you don't want to show wrong info.

usually leave all the module provisioning settings blank (except for the package name) unless you are provisioning a custom package.
