Hello....my problems with Supra date back to an original post by me on 11/12/04...I understand the current problems on Supra, but this is one issue that has not been addressed to me or to this or any forum.....I and my clients have troubles *loading* cpanel! It takes up to 5 minutes on a T1 to load the cpanel index, and then all graphics show as broken links. It takes me (working off a completely seperate T1) almost 20 minutes to add an email account!!!

Would someone please respond to this issue????????????????????????????????

What's wrong Brent? You have to get up and go to work in the morning?

Where is the latest update?

cdsailer, a little less you are posting and a little more you are thinking.

I know you're prolly frustrated, angry, worried and so on. Quite understandable. So am I. So are a lotta people. And you're not helping a damn thing by spamming every supra-related thread with the same insipid snark.

Y'see, I'm trying to read the latest posts since I went to bed 4 hours ago. This is easier when I can just look at which theads have new posts. When *every* thread has a new post from you saying nothing whatever, I have to check each thread individually. This wastes my time, and for what? What are you accomplishing? And what gives you the right to waste *my* time?

Brent is well aware we are waiting with baited breath for an update. Your snarks are only annoying him (and me) and helping maximize downtime for us all. You are behaving in an incredibly selfish fashion. Please stop.

Thank you.

Serious problems with a PHP site, but anything that doesn't require code seems okay. I really need a WHM password, however!

Red face Re: Supra problems to report: Please do not post duplicate issues

I have about 45 domains and they all (at a glance) seem to have websites up and running, MySQL is down still, PHP seems to be OK, email is partly operational, very slow, one email I sent an hour ago has just arrived now. Good to see we are moving forward now.
Fingers crossed this time is for real and no more problems occur for a LONG while

Liquid, are you sure it's not the mySQL side of your PHP site that is stuffed. MySQL is still not operational. I know also yesterday when the server was up it had totally corrupted my databases also, which was a bad look. So hope you have a backup of those.
Also getting a 500 Internal Server Error when trying to access mydomain.com/cpanel

Actually, it was working yesterday, even though it was an older version of the data - I was lucky and none of my databases were corrupted. I hope that they're not corrupted now!

wdnz/liquid,

I emailed support and Sandra just reset my WHM p'wd for me, so I've now got WHM access. Changing the p'wd on my main account got me email and cpanel there (didn't try w/the reset p'wd, so changing might not be necessary). Setting the p'wd on customer accounts has them working, including one using WordPress, which relies on PHP and MySQL. Better, the lost data from Dec/Jan seems to be back.

However, everything *is* running extremely slow. I expect the server is still being sorted, and that we'll get a status report before too much longer.

Thanks setmajer
I have done likewise and can access all cpanels from inside WHM, however I can't FTP any websites or check webmail yet. I see they have mySQL installed now.
Is there a problem with permissions? I can create a folder from cPanels file manager, says I dont have permission! Also, the quota is not right in WHM, I suppose these things are being worked on still
Thanks Brent for getting us this far.

IMAP appears to be hosed ATM, and while Outlook isn't complaining about checking my mail account, sending mail isn't happening. That indicates POP3 is working but SMTP isn't.

Checking the WHM panel, none of the mail protocols are listed -- nor is SpamAssassin nor much of anything other than basic server stats.

I expect it's all still a work in progress.

Briefly, what I get (7:00pm 7 Jan Singapore) ...

1. all html based sites up

2. needs to change whm/cpanel password for all accounts to access

3. Server Status ...

Server Load 11.21 (4 cpus)
Memory Used 46.8 %
Swap 0.942 %
Disk sda1 (/) 57 %
Disk sda7 (/home) 35 %
Disk sda2 (/oldusr) 69 %
Disk sda6 (/tmp) 3 %
Disk sda3 (/var) 66 %

4. some POP3 email working, but forwarding setting missing

5. Webmail not working

6. SQL/PHP based websites down

7. File Manager - empty

Don't have the heart to go on .... better go grab some food, and hope the nightmare is over ... soon ... real soon ... Adios folks!

This is getting annoying. I raised a ticket to tell them TekSalon is down, and that I can't even get into WHM, and they respond: "The problem on the server is fixed and all the services are now working fine."

Yeh, sure. Did they actually read the ticket I wonder?

For the record. it's STILL down:
Spotcheck Results for www.teksalon.com

OMG!

Latest: Support respond to my ticket again telling me all is fixed. Ha!

TekSalon now gives a BLANK page... and I still haven't got any access to WHM!

Brent? Are you there mate? Can you intervene here please? This is a farce.

This is WHM. It's been available for at least the past 7 hours.
Once you're in you can reset all your clients passwords. That won't help much until Brent is done but at least you'll have that much out of the way.

But as pointed out many times above.. we can't get in!!!! It's not accepting our password.

So it could be available 777 hours, but unless we can actually get into it, it's pointless.

We are still stuffed.

Sorry. Point taken. If your WHM password doesn't work then you were left out of the loop when the WHM passwords were reset 7 or so hours ago.

And that sucks.

I knew what the address was but I can't even get to that page anymore. For me it's not there which act's like it's a dns issue when it should not be.
