I recently had a client who needed their domain name changing and a minor mix up meant the wrong domain was changed. This caused a few heart attacks but was put right in a matter of minutes once flagged.
Following this my client noticed their forum running slow and I couldn't see why it was referring to the old domain name - we checked server settings, forum settings, site settings, flushed cache and lots more. Support gave some good advice on ticket but it did not sort the problem. The next reply highlighted that the database still had old url referrals from previous templates. A quick trawl through phpmyadmin and all was well. There aren't many providers who go to those lengths to point you in the right direction when you have a problem, especially when the problem is of your own creation. Well done Hostgator Support ![]() Regards
