I double checked my logs,
it is allways the swap going down nearly to zero how breaks the CPUs legs.
Memory and cache running low helps also.
Whats very surprising is that even if memory + cache < 10% of tot-Mem and 10 % swap, the CPU thttles at <1 per cpu.

Can this be some GD not cleaning-up the memory behind him?

Hi Guys,

I was noticing that I was starting to have delayed emails.

I decided to check the server status and it showed this:

"exim (exim-4.63-1_cpanel_maildir) failed"

I'm assuming that when the word failed show up it can't be a positive thing.

Anyone else having mail problems?

Thanks.

Hello,
Since one month that I observe some erratic behaviours on Sunfire, I check on a regular basis and log since a few weeks.
I observed that the exim failure was allways red after a heavy load and after a quasi crash or crash. But also the mails was working, slow but working after recovery if crash.
Your comment let me think that we was in this situation at this time:
About 21:00 we had an amaising load of 150/4 and a queue of 3 minutes due to the load.
The server came back in less than 10 minutes to a normal load, about 2/4.

I observed also that some requests generated from the WHM panel create this kind of "Troubles"

I have noticed the erratic behaviour on Sunfire as well.

It has been at least a month since all the lights were green.

I have another server here as well and it has not been anwhere near a problematic as Sunfire.

Hopefully once we are upgraded to the new plans with more disk space thing there will be more stable.

Do you know of anyone who's been upgraded yet?

Thanks GatorFord for popping in to give us an update.

Hey riostyles, I agree, Sunfire has been running smoother.

I'll post here when my server gets upgraded to the new plan....would like to hear what others are experiencing in this area too.
