Subdomains with Hostgator or GoDaddy

I'm curious....what is the difference between creating a subdomain in cPanel with Hostgator or creating one in GoDaddy's domain name manager? Is there a preferred method?

New HostGator member. Looks great so far.

Didn't know you could create them with GD System.
But you need to create them in Cpanel.

Hi,

You would create your subdomain here at HG in your cpanel, not at GD. Read this for more info. Hope that clears it up.
