Same way you would add any other subdomain. Just login to cpanel, go to the subdomains page, and make sure to select "domain2.com" from the drop down menu to the right of the subdomain input field.

Is it possible to have the same subdomain name for different domains - for example,

forum.domain1.com
forum.domain2.com
forum.domain3.com

cPanel doesn't seem to allow me to designate the directory name for a subdomain, so is the only way to do this through editing htaccess?

Hi,

Does anybody know if somehow it's possible to have the previous configuration? That is...

forum.domain1.com
forum.domain2.com
forum.domain3.com

Thanks

Yes, in cPanel11 you can choose the directory name where each subdomain you create resides.

Thanks for your response...

I've taken a look at the forums and knowledge base, and still have a question... despite my cPanel version is 11.16.0, maybe I should open a ticket to get switched to the x3 theme? -i've seen its demo and seems that there you have that option, which not appears in my current X v2.6.0-

thanks
