i think i prolly missed this one
is there audio streaming support on hostgator
as i notice when i click the audio files they tend to download first before
playing

i did call some mates to test this and the same result with them

can anyone help

Yes, we do support streaming -- I believe this is probably an error with how it's setup though. Are they ASF files? I'm not sure what you're using, but try using winamp. It seems to work the best.

the files are mp3 format a few surfers to said the files download on thier computers too.

any way in the mean time till you guys sort that out im gonna use a stream author tool to do the job.

We support real player , windows media, quicktime and all others with http streaming.

So if I have an ASF file that points to the WMV file, the link would still be http://domain.com, not mms://domain.com ?
