Streaming Audio

According to your accounts page for shared hosting, you support Windows Media streaming audio/video.

According to this page (http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro.../fivestps.mspx), I would put my files I want to stream in a default folder and create links to the files omitting the default folder name.

Is this how I would set it up here? What is the location of the default folder or do I have to create that somewhere?

P.S. I would really love a tutorial or more information on this part of your hosting service since there is currently only the barest of minimums.

Dana,

we support all http streaming (so Windows MediaPlayer, RealPlayer,...).
The link you refer to is on how to setup Windows Media Services on a Windows platform server. We have Linux running on our servers, so that info is not relevant.

What you should do is put your media files in a directory of your choice on the server. Create a file with a link to the media file, and point your URL to that file to play the media file over http.
