Strange occurence

Ok, I just did sign up for HG last night and switched my DNS from a free host I was using. As I check my emails today, the old emails from when I had the other host are gone, yet, the site is still not switched over. Can someone explain this??

Your webmail how? Using your domain name or IP?

Changing your DNS won't move over your old email, it will just start directing new email over.

Ok, here is what I mean. With my old host when I last checked my email I had like 16 emails, today I checked it and I have 8-9, none of which were there when I checked before switching hosts.

So you are seeing mails in the new server.
What is the problem here?

My ISP has yet to update the DNS, although other people can see the site fine. Which is a good thing!!!
