Default Status of Shared Upgrades?

I had contacted support almost 2 months ago about the upgrade of Shared hosting accounts and I was told that my server (Gator24) would more-than-likely get upgraded in Feb.

My only question is I've had occasional downtime throughout this month, but I haven't seen, heard, or even found some information on the status of these upgrades; is there a projected time line that HG can provide so I know when this will happen?

No, and waiting for them to respond could take awhile....

My nasty responce is becasue I took the time to read the 7 page thread here http://forums.hostgator.com/showthread.php?t=12416 to know what is going on. And since it streches from 12-06-2006 to today, it provided clear indication that the only timeline we have is that tomrrow we will still not know.

This is a "Peer Support" forum, meaning we are all customers of HG trying to help each other. While HG employees lurk in these forums and on occasion make a post or two (look for the "Gator" avitar), 99% of the questions and responses come from us peers.

And I must say, we sometimes get a little testy when reading the umpteenth post on a much-over-discussed topic. Especially when a quick search would make the info available to you so you wouldn't have to spend your time typing and everyone else's time reading.
