Default Starting a vBulletin forum with HostGator

I am planning starting a new vBulletin forum with HostGator. Can anyone with experience with HostGator or a similar hosting company describe the process of getting the vBulletin installed at HostGator? Is this something I need to coordinate with someone on their end, or is this something I have complete control over through a management interface? Thanks much.

You have complete control over the installation. If you need help let me know. I have installed many vB forums on here.

Same as Chimpie, if you need help but Chimpie isn't online, then you can come to me,

Also, just a few help tutorials :

http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/install
http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showt...hreadid=242497

There was one other great video tutorial that I couldn't find... But, those tutorials above are nice ones as well.

Way to go :
After you have downloaded VB from vbulletin.com extract the files to an empty folder. Then you create database with mysql manager in you Control Panel. With FileZilla or other FTP software upload your files to the directory where you want to install vbulletin. Run example.com/install/install.php from your favorite web browser (I recommend you mozilla firefox). Replace example.com with your domain name and follow the install steps. And You Done!

Definitely simple to install vbulletin on here as most have already mentioned.

I followed the help docs from the vbulletin manual when I first installed vbulletin and it all worked out great.
