Newbie questions...
I'm looking to start a web store to test the waters in both how easy/hard it is to set up the store and if the product I have will sell via the net. There are only two - four items I plain to sell on the sight so... What type account would I need? Do you have a "Site Builder" program? Is the program included? Is the program strickly templates or can I build my own inside your program? Can I add my own JGEPS? is shopping carts included or cost extra? Is it easy (for a newbie) to add shopping carts where needed? What is the process/dance for attaching Pay-Pal? As to the pages I might need... 1 Home page, 1 page for retail selling with shopping carts and Pay-Pal, 1 page for large volume selling with shopping carts and Pay-Pal, a contact page, a comments page and 1 or 2 more pages for thing I've not thought of yet. I'm looking for simple to start with. I don't want to sign up and once in the door find it's not what I need/want or well over my head. Yes I know about the 30 money back but that does not include time wasted. By most accounts this is a good place, just need more upfront information. Thank you in advance. |

Any account will do...
If you want *the* SiteBuilder program, I believe that is extra...$2 a month or something... Each site has a WYSIWYG editor...no charge...no templates...build your own (i.e., create your own pages, and your own pics (jpegs) and just about anything else... Shopping carts are included...Agora, OSCommerce, ZenCart, CubeCart... Carts are added with near one-click ease...if you usse the carts interface for customization you should be fine...At least one of the carts has PAypal as a payment option....I forget which one...just supply the email address... As for pages you may want...you are only limited by disk space...as many or as few as you want...(provided the paln allows that which I think they all do...) The limistations are listed in each plans description...emails, databases, disk space, bandwidth etc.... |
