Hello Peers,
How would I go about installing a ssl certificate on a subdomain of one of my accounts? I have example.com with its own ssl certificate, and I want billing.example.com to have its own certificate. However, I dont seem to be able to specify a dedicated IP for the subdomain. Should I create a new account for billing.example.com with its own IP address, then in the DNS settings for example.com have billing point to a different IP? Or is there a better way to handle this? Thanks, Ryan |

You can have 1 SSL per cpanel so you can either use the existing SSL and make the links to the sub-domain as
https://example.com/billing/index.html or php The only other ways to do it would be to create a separate cpanel for the subdomain and purchase a separate SSL unless you want to go the wildcard SSL which is much more expensive.
