Greetings, I just moved an account of mine here, to 'kick the tires', so to speak.
At another host I use, which uses cpanel, I can log in to squirrel mail via http://www.domain_name.com/sqmail/src/login.php I tried that here and get an error 404. Is there a shorter way to do that here, other than http://www.domain_name.com:2082/3rdp.../src/login.php Thanks, Tom |

Hi Tom,
You could setup a subdomain and redirect it to that address. That'll give you a shorter address. also i think the port for webmail is 2095 not 2082 Last edited by sjb; 08-26-2005 at 03:06 AM. |

Thanks for the help rjb,
Yes, your right, it's port 2095. When you do that, you end up at a page where you get to choose from Horde, Neomail and Squirrel mail. To make things easy for my users (or me having to explain things to them , I want to limit them to Squirrel mail, and the address to log into it becomes h**p://www.domain_name.net:2095/3rdparty/squirrelmail/src/webmail.php I guess the easiest way to make it 'easily' available (and have them try to remember it), is to just make a link to the address, and place it on the website. Thanks again, Tom |

If you make a subdomain and set up redirection for it to h**p://www.domain_name.net:2095/3rdparty/squirrelmail/src/webmail.php
you could then have something like webmail.domain.com going to squirrel mail. |

Hey sjb
,It finally sunk into me what you were saying! It's so simple even I could do it LOL. I just changed the subdomain redirect to h**p://www.domain_name.net:2095/3rdparty/squirrelmail/src/login.php, and it's perfect. Once again, thanks for your perciverance in getting your point across to me Tom |
