SPAM: Take measures immediately!

I got a spam PM from a user with the username JamesWilliams with the following content.

It is clear that he has sent it to many forum users, maybe all of us...

Although it is clearly a SPAM & the user has been banned, what about deleting the PMs sent from this user to be on safer side? cause if just one users falls for it then the spamer will find the attempt "good" n might try again.

I guess there is an option to do so in VB, if not it should be as easy as single sql statment.

Just my 2 cents.

I reported it to HG about 9 AM this morning. Curious to see how long it was before he was banned. I assume not very.

Also, the way Pazeh edited the PM before quoting it was very well done, changing several things so a) it's impossible to click on the link and b) parts of the address are obfuscated.

Noobs should take note that in fora for security pros, this is considered "best practice" for any dubious URL. And, of course, it makes even more sense for the rest of us.

I couldn't even imagine that a spammer would be stupid enough to send spam to a forum mod/staff. Maybe I am wrong?
