Is SPAM Assasin working on Chrysler?

Hi,

I've been getting a lot of SPAM in my inboxes lately, seemingly from sources that used to go right into the SPAM box.

When checking the properties and source info of the emails, I'm not seeing where there was a rating assigned to it by SPAM assasin, which makes me thing that they are going unchecked. Usually, I will see a rating here, which would let me know why a message flew under the radar and made it into my inbox.

I'm on Chrysler, and have both SPAM assasin and the SPAM box enabled.

Well, no one ever responded to this, but it mysteriously started working shortly after the above post...

But now, about a month later, it's happening again, so I thought I'd post to see why this is reoccuring. As before, there is no spam assasin level assigned to the emails in question, which makes me think it's not working...

Spam Assasin doesn't check all emails. One day, perhaps I will have time to figure out why...

This used to happen to me all the time on porsche then after much whining on my part some change was made an it stopped happening I don't know what they changed all I know is a can't even change the spam threshold... no worries though, as long as it works I'm happy.

Check your incoming mail, in the headers u should see something like the stuff below (values will obviously be different) if u don't have them your email is not being processed by spam assassin and you'll need to get in touch with support.

That's my point, it is not checking any email right now, even though spam assasin is enabled and the spam box is enabled, mail is passing through to primary boxes, nothing is going into spam, and even obvious spam mails are going unchecked...

the name in the to is not me, and as you can see, there are no X-Spam messsages anywhere in this message, I've already deleted dozens of emails just like this, and every time I check them, they are not being run through spam assasin...

Karz u really need to send an email to support, no matter how much we play around with spam assassin's settings once this starts to happen tech support has to fix it, by the way when this happens it's usual (as far as how I experienced it) for spam assassin to go down on all youre resold domains.

Yeah, ok, I sent an email. I guess I'll update if I hear anything. I figured it would have worked itself out by now, or someone would have stopped by a post at the top of 'Network Status' to comment...

Seems like they should have come up with a blanket solution since the problem tends to crop up for many using spam assassin on domains targeted by spammers.

Man, I just don't like loose ends...

I sent the email, but never got a response, I don't think I even got a confirmation auto email of any kind...

No one from HG stopped by this thread yet...

THANKFULLY, SpamAssassin *is* working again as of today, but that's kind of a weird way to deal with it (or should I say, not deal with it)

At least it's working now. Hope it continues to...
