If you want to setup an e-commerce site, a SSL Certificate is a MUST, and to use a SSL you MUST have a dedicated IP address.

I don't believe you need a dedicated IP for this at HG.

Also, you can access your HG account via its IP/your account name without a dedicated IP--instructions are in the welcome mail HG sends all new customers.

A dedicated IP address is good,too.It will can support most countries visitor your sites..Sometime some sites because SEO fraud..You won't get good traffic from Search Engine.Maybe This IP become Black list..

I just advice you can buy a dedicated IP address for your websites.
