I've been with Hostgator since last year, and hadn't really had any problems until I added a couple of databases to my site. After a few months I found the site was going down a lot and was loading pretty slowly. I only get between 1000 and 1600 visits a day so I was perplexed as to why I had to keep getting support to restart.

Support fixed the problem every time, but didn't really give me any answers, so I decided to contact Brent. I was amazed to find I was one of the heaviest users on my server! I still don't understand the 'whys' as I'm no high tech person. (Altho I assume it was the databases, especially the one for my gallery)

Brent was extremely helpful in putting up with my lack of knowledge and questions, and was able to sort me out with a plan that better served my fansite's needs. Hopefully the folks on gator 8 will load better now I'm gone, and my site is definitely more stable on its new semi dedi!

I'd like to say Thanks to Brent for all his help, as well as support who I'm sure I annoyed constantly. (And probably will again with my lack of knowledge )
