My billing acc saying 9.95 monthly.

Chat: 7.95 1st month only.
Me: Where it says 1st month.
Chat: I don't know but this is how it is.

I won't even comment on this type of business practice.
Besides the fact that I was waiting 12 hours to get an IP.

Did you choose to pay yearly or monthly?

If your choice was monthly, it would be totally normal to have the 20% discount applied only on this month payment because only ONE month was in the order.

personally, i never would have expected a signup discount to apply beyond the inital signup period. however, if you're not willing to pay the extra $2/month because of the misunderstanding, i'm sure hg will refund your money. they have a 45-day refund, last time i checked.

Lets see, if I try to recreate your signup process using the code it gives me this for a confirmation screenshot that specificly tells you what you agree to pay and when BEFORE signing up and paying.

If I sign up to pay yearly,
I'll get 20% off.

And now,
what it has to do with 20% snowman add? - Nothing.

It doesn't say anywhere snowman for 1 month period. It's just a very blemish thing to do.

The $7.95 price is if you pay 3 years in advance. If you go to: http://www.hostgator.com/shared.shtml and hover your mouse over the $7.95 price it will show how the pricing works. Month-to-month payments is $9.95.

The 20% coupon is for the first invoice only. If you want it to discount the entire year or more, you would need to sign up and make a 1-3 year payment and the coupon would apply to the entire amount.

You're right - I'm stupid, and I missed that " little notice ".
May be it was just added after I signed up administration. Doesn't really matter.
