SMTP Mail problems on Hummer

Hello;

My customer is reporting the following problem with SMTP on Hummer:

Message : :We're having an increasing number of messages in Outlook that there are errors retrieving messages on our xxxxxx.org email accounts. The mail seems to be becoming pretty unreliable."

Please advise.

I can't help as I'm a customer too, but I can add two things (though one is terribly pedantic):

1. If the customer isn't receiving email, then it's POP3 or IMAP that's the problem, not SMTP (though that could be having trouble as well, of course)

2. I don't know if my account is on Hummer or not, but I've been having troubles connecting to POP3 and IMAP intermittently as well. HTTP is frightfully slow ATM, too, but the server answers PINGs quite nicely.

can you give us an example of the error messages?
Do you see the same problem on other domains too or only on the one of that specific client?
