Small Clarification regarding affiliate program

I have been with host gator for few months now and i am already in love with it (especially their support!!!)



I own few websites and for one among them i recently launched a affiliate program to promote that website. Like any other typical affiliate program, inorder to become affiliates the members should own a website. I would design them a unique website, in case they want one!At this point of time i am planning to recommend host gator for all the new affiliates for whom i would develop the website.

Now is this fine with host gator???And would i be eligible for hostgator's affiliate program??

the two are not directly related. your affiliate program on the site you're running would not disqualify you from referring your new affilates to hg hosting through your own hg affiliate account.

Yup...true but some how i felt like confirming b4 i go ahead and do changes to my business plan.

Anyways any idea how i can get an official email or fax from hostgator regarding their 'NO OBJECTION'.

well, if you want official word, then contact hg through an official channel. in a peer support forum, most responses you'll get are from your peers.

try an email to sales [@] hostgator.com instead.
