No reason just got buried in the forum....

The amount of sites per server varies extremely. Some servers have as little as 100 sites and our filled, reseller servers usually get around 500 sites on them because most our 5mb sites or place holder pages.

Rather them monitor sites which is no indicator of servers performance we monitor the server load. When a server’s load starts getting close to the 1 mark we stop filling it. With reseller servers when the server load hit's an average of .3 or so we stop filling to allow the resellers to grow into the box.

We run about 30 servers all but three in the nac datacenter. www.nac.net

If the power goes our backup diesel generators kick in instantly. They run off gasoline, and the datacenter has contracts for the gas to be supplied for months period of time if need be.
