Default Sitebuilder Problems

I just used Sitebuilder to create my template, however things have just went wrong. First off, when you go to my site you see the directory, and not the index page. When you do click the index.html, it's all scrambled up. I've tried refreshing images in sitebuilder but that does not help. What am I doing wrong?

Lots of people would say the problem is that you're using Sitebuilder. IMO, it would make sense this early in your project to switch to something else...this thread discusses why Sitebuilder or Site Studio can be a problem, and provides links to better tools:

Site studio alternatives even novices can use

that is a mess, isn't it? i looked at the source code, but i don't know site studio from a hole in the ground...the only thing that i could tell obviously might be off is the templates...that's a big duh, huh? but it mentioned both business and personal templates in the html comments, so perhpas that is related?

can you wipe it out and start over if you still want to use sitestudio maybe? that's what i would try if i were doing it, because it doesn't look like you got all that far anyway...

Even if the template is messed up, going to the url should bring up the index.html page rather than the directory listing. Have you made changes to your .htaccess file?

Insert the following into your .htaccess page:
DirectoryIndex index.html index.php index.htm
That should at least make index.html load automatically

Yeah-- let's not put lipstick on the pig by using an .htaccess for what's supposed to be default behavior. If you don't already have an .htaccess file, have you asked support why the default index isn't showing?
