Default SiteBuilder... not SiteStudio

I searched the forum for sitebuilder and everything talks about SiteStudio. I would like to know if SiteBuilder (http://www.swsoft.com) can be used on my account (baby croc). If I can use that program, how would I set it up?

Thanks!

Hi irishsuperfly

You should be OK to run sitebuilder on hostgator, it is just a php/mysql jobby.

From their site the required system schtuffs
Linux\UNIX Related Software Requirements

* Apache web server 1.3.x or higher
* Apache web server 2 or higher
* PHP version 4.2 or higher
* Sablotron
* MySQL 3.x
* PHP extensions:
o CURL
o DOM XML
o GD2
o XML-RPC
o iconv
o XSLT

I would think that all the above is available or could be made so by hg. Not really sure what Sablotron is or if it is on the server/s already or not.

OK, Sablotron and I quote "Sablotron is a fast, compact and portable XML toolkit implementing XSLT 1.0, DOM Level2 and XPath 1.0. Sablotron is an open project".

If it is open source for linux you should be OK. Dedicated servers would not have a lot of issues because you can set them up as you wish.

If you are on reseller systems you best run this past HG Support I guess, check what they say because I ain't sure 'bout the reseller plans.

Cheers and good luck

Currently we only offer site studio, but I can tell you that we are planning on offering Site Builder in the future. We do not have the specifics as of yet, but it is something that is in the works.

Hi Forum....

Do the dedicated servers get SiteBuilder?

I see SohoLaunce and some other stuff, but not see SiteBuilder.

Am I not looking properly?

Cheers
