Exclamation Shared vs VPS. And winner is Shared. Why?

Hi!

I have your shared business hosting plan. I bought your VPS plan 4. I have a site http://www.getabest.com (~6k uniq daily). When this site workd on shared hosting, I no have any problems with uptime of my site. When I transfer and run this site on VPS - 70% opening site I get a error:
The connection has timed out
The server at getabest.com is taking too long to respond.

Please, could you see whats wrong with my new VPS? Why so bigger different's with uptime?

VPS IP is: 174.120.178.13

Thanks!
P. S. Sorry for my English.

Today Web Server Statistics for getabest.com
http://174.120.178.13:2082/tmp/getabest/analog/11.html

Successful requests: 272,802
Failed requests: 7,522

And when I type "top" at shell, average value of Cpu(s): 70%s all time. Why?? Why on shared hosting I didn't see these values?

Please, help me

P.S. I think it's bad Apache & MySQL default configs. If so, please setup on my VPS same configs (I mean any server speed settings) on like Shared hosting.

The forum is primarily for peer support. I would suggest opening a ticket with support and give them the details so they can have a look.

Problem solved. I rewrite my Perl scripts. Setup Nginx for static content. Install and use mod_fcgid for Apache. Install and use Memcached.

Now, all pages generates only for 0.002 seconds

Waiting for huge traffic (about 20k per day for beginning) now, to test highload
