Question shared ssl path problems

I am new to host gator and i am very confused about the shared ssl path. I have talked to several support people and i am more confused than ever. My problem is when ever i go to the shared ssl path that they gave to me, my website looks totally different. The images won't load and there are alot of blank boxes with x's in them. Can someone please help me figure out what I should do? Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks

whats your address... i would not mind looking at your source code to see if i can help.. most likely thought, you just need to change your code around to call the pictures (on your secure html pages) via the full secure path... insted of the standard path... or else they will cause an error and may not load...

the problem is that your trying to run oscommerce on top of a shared ssl, if you open your link in a new browsers you'll notice it will ask you if you want to access and accept this posible uncertified or problematic ssl cert. if you say yes, all your images will load. Unfortunatly you cant really get (or else i've not been able to setup corectly ) oscommerce on a shared ssl. To fix this you would need to get a private ip and ssl cert which would then fix the problem.
