Shared Hosting Sites

I'm curious as to how fast the shared hosting websites load and preform. Can someone please post some sites that are running on the shared hosting.

Thousands of different sites are hosted on HG shared servers so unless someone has a site with the same kind of apps, mods to those apps, and traffic as what you have in mind for a site, just seeing sites at random on shared hosting won't give you any meaningful basis for comparison.

It's like asking to see "cars" as they drive.

This would also provide an opportunity for forum spammers to post their links, HG-hosted and otherwise, which I hope you didn't intend to provide. Plus, for their own security, it's just not a good idea for HG shared account holders to post their links in response to such a general question.

Better to get a shared hosting account, test it to see if it performs ok, and get your money back within the guarantee period if it doesn't.

based on my experience. my site hosted under the shared hosting loads fine and very reliable.

Before anyone posts something negative, please consider my concerns here:

1. This thread would be the perfect place for affiliate spammers to pipe in with their links--possibly for years.

2. And for other spammers.

3. Particularly since the lack of specification means anything would at least look ok.

This is not to say shadow82x had anything like that in mind, but many others could take advantage of it.

When I was with hostgator the site load was very fast, maybe the fastest hosting I've ever been with.

Google for Reverse IP Lookup or Reverse IP Domain Check - It gives you an estimated value not exact value

Of what, the average per server?

This is kind of a meaningless number, because it all depends on the accounts on a server. 5,000 (hypothetically) accounts without much going on might not be too many, 5 accounts with too much going on in the way of processes, dbs, server resources, traffic, etc., might be too much.

MUCH more important, if you asking pre-sales if you're going to be sharing with "too many" other accounts, is the work a hosting firm does to prevent a server from having too many. HG goes to great lengths here, and, in effect, starts a new server every time it fills one up.

I have VPS level 3 and I just Create one website, with 10000 visitor per day, in the first day stopped and down more than 15 times , the same website was working well in the sharing host in the other company ..
I read more about hostgator and I really know hostgator is the best company, but I dont know why in the first day I have these problem...
