Hi
I am looking to move to HostGator sometime in the next few months. I am hoping to get away with using shared hosting, but I have a question about e-mail on the shared plans: Is there a way to create mail users from a script of any sort (Bash or Perl for example) rather than using cPanel? Thanks. |

Not sure, but you can import email accounts from a .xls or .csv file in cpanel.

Well, that's a nice feature and good to know, but I really want to be able to create them on demand. My question is a bit misleading--I don't need this for the purpose of transfering my site more conviniently, I want it so that I can write my own admin panel.
If I can't do it on the shared hosting I suppose I could just set the MX record to another server. |
