When I use the same login credentials, but on port 22 the server fails to respond. I haven't altered any of the FTP accounts created by default since the hosting being reset.
I have tried clearing the cache in WinSCP Last edited by PenPusher; 11-29-2008 at 07:43 AM. |

I can't answer that, sorry, but I'd hop into Live Chat real quick, and ask if you have the correct login info for SFTP.

Thanks for your advice.
I have since opened another ticket as I'm still having the same issue. Plus when I connect with Putty I'm authenticated, but when I try the ls command, I get permission denied. This is all taking too long. All I wanted was to have my account reset to default, and now I'm unable to even gain access. 3rd day and counting. |

I use Putty, too. Have you tried toggling Passive Mode? If that doesn't do it, then I suspect something went wrong during the account reset you mentioned. I'd update your ticket (once only) to request an escalation to a higher level Admin, then wait to see what happens.
