Default Several questions about service

I don't know what a lot of this stuff means, but I just want a board that has certain features.

1. Can I see the IP addresses of guests and of members logged in even if they haven't posted? I have issues with members giving their login info to others to lurk, or people signing up and not posting so they can lurk without me being able to trace their IP.

2. Are their modifications available? For example, the only board I have ever seen that has a "New Posts" feature is a v-Bulletin, but I'd like this feature, or the ability to add this feature.

3. Is there anyway to set up a test board so I can see all the functions and features it comes with? I've grown tired of switching hosts only to find that they don't offer what I'm looking for in an admin panel.

4. Do you host v-Bulletin boards, or is it just the support board that is one?

You can do that in phpBB and vBulletin

Yes there are mods avaliable (vbulletin.org for vB)

If its vbulletin you want to test then go here -> http://www.vbulletin.com/admindemo.php

if its a free board then your best to dload and install it and see how you like it

Thanks. Now could you tell me which price plan I'd be looking at if I wanted to host a v-Bulletin?

I have tested a v-Bulletin before, but from the plans I was looking at here, I had a choice between phpbb and something else. It was those that I wanted to see about testing, but maybe I'm misunderstanding this service- can I host just about any type of board here? The feature list I found doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. I just want to have the ability to have certain functions on a board and be able to customize it. I don't necessarily need to go with a v-Bulletin, and I'm not even sure if I can afford it at this point, so I'm inquiring about other boards as well.

And its upto you what plan you choose, they are all the same except from the amount of space and bandwidth you get

Sam must be tired or only awake.

On these plans you can host what ever you like, #It's up to you.
PHPBB will do the job you want.

LOL...most of my posts come during periods of not thinking. The thinking ones have been getting me in trouble lately
