Yes, though do I need to use lynx to run the php file OR is it just like setting up a perl script in cron?

My last host I had to use the linux internal browser called Lynx, I think that is the name, to run a php file through a cron event. I can't find any specifics in the online manual for the specific procedure for calling a php file. Also do I need to know the PHP path? Where can I find that, I do not see the path for php inthe control panel only the version number.

Thanks

I followed the directions in a script install doc and it worked. This is how you get PHP to run via a cron event with this service.

/usr/bin/php /home/username/public_html/script.php

If there is other ways I do not know it.

Maybe what flak said is right and you just need to type PHP instead of the path to the compiler but the lack of docs and info on this I wouldn't know that.

Thanks Flak for answering I appreciate it.
