Default Setting Domain To Point To New Server For Testing?
Hello, I am currently on a shared account, but I purchased a VPS system yesterday. I am wanting to set my computer to point my domain to the VPS system so i can test it on the back end before pushing everything live.

Is this done through the hosts file in system32/drivers/etc ? Or is there another way to do it.

ok solved. Literally soon as i posted this, hostgator emailed me with instructions on how to do it in the same email they used to tell my site was transferred over.
