How to set up bind on a VPS ?

Hi guys

Yeah I know with a Level 3 VPS everything is easier but I want to learn so I am currently trying to configure my VPS Level 1.

I am OK with MySQL / Apache / PHP but I don't know anything about Bind... Has any one any advice to give to me ? Or a good tutorial ? I found many on google but they were require rndc-confgen... what's that ?
