Default Terrible service so far

Ok so I have been a hostgator customer for about two days and I must say that so far the service has been terrible.

I am even typing this message right now from notepad on my computer because I only registered a forum account a few minutes (now hours) ago, and when registering I used my hostgator hosted email which I cannot access at the moment to activate my account because the control panel is down.

Over the last 48 hours I have received the "#1030 - Got error 28 from storage engine" error on phpMyadmin around 4 times. The first time I didn't actually know what it was so I called up tech support (who were very helpful) who told me it was a problem on their end and they would have it fixed soon. Well they did fix it but hours later it happened again. This error effectively makes my website useless because it is database driven.

I don't know if this is a regular occurrence or not since I am a new user but if this continues to happen for the rest of the week I will more than likely make good on your 45 day money back guarantee and recommend against your hosting in the future.

I do apologize about any troubles you may be having and that's certainly not typical of our service. Do you have a support ticket open on this issue that I can take a look at? Well considering it has happened multiple times I don't know if I could keep submitting tickets. I did call up the first time it happened and It was fixed pretty quickly so I just tried waiting it out the next few times but they all took a few hours before everything was working again.

Can you let me know what e-mail address you've submitted these tickets from?
We've checked your email address in your forum profile as well as the one we have on file in ModernBill and I don't see any tickets ever submitted for either of these addresses.

I'd definitely like to assist you in whatever problem you're having but we need to get a ticket started so there will be a documented paper trail. Thank you!

I took a look into your issue at the request of our customer service manager and the only thing I could see were some stale semaphores causing the 'out of space' message. I've resolved the issue which was causing that to occcur.

That message does not actually refer to disk space but instead refers to semaphores. As per the storage engine issue, I can't see anywhere where MySQL is having any issues right now at all. I'll be glad to work through this further with you however and I'll continue to monitor this server and your site for a few hours tonight.

You can also PM me directly and I'll be happy to work directly with you to solve this issue once and for all.
